When developing a name for my brand, I wanted something with more character than the typical “My Name Design.” Durge came from an unexpected, playful pronunciation of my initials, DRJ. This name feels as distinctive as the work I create while still keeping it personal.

I’m drawn to design because of how much it can make people feel and how it can change the way they see something. I like finding the balance between a strong idea and thoughtful design, creating work that not only looks good but has a reason behind it. Every project is a chance to solve a problem, tell a story, and make something people connect with.

I specialize in custom typography, logotypes, and branding, with a focus on creating work that feels unique and memorable. I’m always looking for inspiration in art, culture, and the world around me, and I enjoy taking on projects that challenge me to try something new and keep growing as a designer.
